This 1980s Malayalam family drama follows Malu, who moves into the home of her new husband Govindan, a former military man, bringing along her young brother Appu. As Govindan tries to settle into married life, Appu grows resentful and fearful that he will lose his close bond with his sister, causing friction within the household. The story then follows the family's efforts to resolve this tension and restore harmony.
