Olangal follows Ravi and Radha, a married couple raising their young daughter in apparent contentment, until a priest arrives with a boy named Raju, whom Ravi secretly fathered years earlier during a relationship that predates his marriage. Ravi passes the child off to Radha as the son of a deceased friend so he can look after him temporarily before the boy is taken abroad, but the deception threatens to unravel their household once the real story starts coming to light. The Malayalam drama, directed by Balu Mahendra, adapts the premise of Erich Segal's novel Man, Woman and Child.
