This 2008 Telugu action comedy, directed by Y. V. S. Chowdary, follows a locally revered strongman named Satyanarayana who clashes with a corrupt chief minister while being pursued by a CBI officer investigating a mysterious vigilante known as Okka Magadu, who has been targeting corrupt professionals. The story eventually flashes back to colonial-era India, revealing Okka Magadu's past as a doctor turned freedom fighter who resisted brutal British rule before being imprisoned, and ties his history to Satyanarayana's family. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna alongside Anushka Shetty, Simran, Nisha Kothari and Ashutosh Rana, with music by Mani Sharma.
