Not a Hero

Assamese · 2026 · 97 min

Directed by Rima Das

An eleven-year-old boy relocates from an urban setting to his family's rural village, where he lives with his young aunt in an emotionally reserved home. Through gradual integration into village life—attending school, forming friendships, and engaging in everyday activities—he becomes increasingly attuned to his surroundings, while his quiet presence subtly stirs emotional responses in the adults around him.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
