This Malayalam courtroom satire follows Rajeevan Kozhummal, a former petty thief trying to live an honest life with his partner Devi, who ends up falsely accused of theft after a mishap involving a local MLA's dogs and a roadside pothole. Rather than hire a lawyer, he decides to argue his own case in court, guided informally by a retired policeman turned advocate, and his investigation soon draws in a powerful public works minister. The film comically traces his struggle to gather proof and fight the influential figures standing in the way of his vindication.
