Nirnayam

Nirnayam is a 1991 Telugu action drama in which an honest police officer, Vamsi Krishna, goes undercover with fellow officers to track down a dangerous criminal, Raghuram, on the orders of the city's police commissioner. To gather evidence, Vamsi poses as a telephone department official and rents an apartment to keep watch on Raghuram's daughter Geetha, but ends up falling for her, complicating his mission once she discovers his real identity and intentions toward her father. Directed by Priyadarshan as his Telugu debut and starring Nagarjuna and Amala, the film is a remake of his earlier Malayalam movie Vandanam.
