A young man witnesses what he believes to be a kidnapping and becomes caught up in a search for a missing girl, only to discover the incident was a film shoot. As he investigates further with help from an aspiring filmmaker whose life is spiraling due to addiction and theft, multiple interconnected storylines involving a corrupt police inspector, powerful criminals, and hidden secrets begin to unravel.
