New Delhi is a 1988 Hindi political thriller, directed by Joshiy as a remake of his own Malayalam film, starring Jeetendra, Suresh Gopi and Thiagarajan. It follows a wrongly imprisoned journalist who recounts to fellow inmates how corrupt political figures conspired to destroy his career and his relationship with a dancer he loved, framing him and having him institutionalized. After his release, he launches a newspaper with the woman he loves and former colleagues, setting in motion a plan to confront the men responsible for his downfall.
