A well-meaning but naïve village intellectual named Peethambaran struggles to balance his charitable impulses with his family responsibilities. When his friends pressure him to run for local office and he falls victim to financial deception, he finds himself drawn to a woman named Indu, whose family proposes marriage despite their aristocratic background now being in financial decline. As Peethambaran attempts to reform himself for his new wife, he must navigate conflicting loyalties between helping others and maintaining his own integrity.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
