This 2005 Malayalam mystery film, part of the CBI series directed by K. Madhu and written by S. N. Swamy, follows CBI officer Sethurama Iyer as he probes the death of a woman named Mythili, whose body is discovered at a mansion rumored to have a haunted room. A young police officer named Sai, engaged to one of the victim's friends, begins his own inquiry after a strange personal experience convinces him the room might truly be cursed, before the case is handed over to Iyer and his associates for a deeper investigation. Mammootty reprises his role as Iyer, alongside Mukesh and Jagathy Sreekumar as his colleagues, in this fourth entry of the franchise.
