A 1984 Tamil masala drama directed by Balu Mahendra, about a widow in Ooty whose murder at the hands of a visiting tourist is witnessed by her two young sons. The boys are separated and raised differently, one trained in combat by his uncle and the other mentored by a blind music teacher into becoming a singer, both carrying memories of the killer's identity. The story follows their eventual reunion as they pursue justice for their mother's death.
