Nakshatram is a 2017 Telugu cop action-drama about a young man from a long line of policemen who is determined to serve as an officer despite repeatedly failing to qualify for the job. After a personal clash with the son of the city's police commissioner derails his chances, he takes matters into his own hands by policing the streets without official authority, drawing him into the commissioner's investigation of a terrorist bombing plaguing Hyderabad. As he digs deeper, he uncovers a violent conspiracy connected to a previous officer's death and finds himself targeted by the same forces.
