Set against a feud between two Adivasi communities, Nagin follows Mala, a tribal chief's daughter who sets out to avenge her people by targeting Sanatan, the son of the rival tribe's leader. Drawn in by his flute playing, she instead falls in love with him, and the pair must navigate their communities' hostility as well as a scheming rival who wants Mala for himself.
