This 2007 Malayalam thriller, directed by K. Madhu and starring Suresh Gopi and Kavya Madhavan, follows a railway crime investigator called in after three women—a champion shooter, a dancer, and a TV journalist—are found murdered aboard the same train compartment during a journey between Chennai and Mangalore. As he interrogates the various passengers sharing the car, including actors, doctors, a writer, a police officer, and a family with a troubled son, he begins uncovering separate hidden motives and secrets linking the victims and suspects. The inquiry gradually widens into the shooter's own past, revealing old family history connected to the investigator himself.
