This 1985 Kannada romantic comedy-drama follows a musician who moves to a new town for a job at Akashwani and struggles to rent a room because landlords prefer married tenants. To satisfy his suspicious landlord, he claims to be married and picks up a stranger's photo from a studio to pass off as his wife, only for that woman to actually show up and insist on playing the role in his household. Much of the story follows the complications and comic friction that arise as he tries to extricate himself from this arrangement.
