Directed by Raju Murugan — M. Sasikumar

This 2026 Tamil-language satire directed by Raju Murugan follows a poor daily-wage laborer and his wife in Kovilpatti whose lives unravel after corrupt officials, pressured by a local moneylender, wrongly register them as dead. Stripped of access to basic government services and support, the couple fights to reclaim their legal identity with the help of a young lawyer, even as their case becomes entangled with a powerful health minister's desperate need for an organ transplant in Chennai. The story exposes how bureaucratic corruption and an illegal organ trade network prey on the vulnerable poor.
