An eight-year-old boy named Ashu feels isolated because his parents are too caught up in their own lives to spend time with him. After rescuing a small mouse during a rainstorm, he is told by the family's maid that the creature is linked to Lord Ganesha, sparking his wish for a divine companion. When the household welcomes a Ganesha idol home for the festival, the boy forms an imaginative bond with the deity, and the two work together to ease tensions within his family over the following days.
