Set in the fictional village of Mandola, this 2013 Hindi satirical black comedy centers on a wealthy but eccentric landowner who wants villagers to sell their farmland cheaply so it can become a Special Economic Zone. His plans are complicated by his own alcohol-fueled alter ego that champions the villagers, by his daughter's romantic entanglement with a corrupt politician's son, and by his driver, a law graduate who secretly organizes the farmers' resistance under a mysterious alias. As personal loyalties shift, the daughter finds herself drawn away from her intended match and toward the cause the driver is fighting for.
