Set in Ooty, the story follows Pritam, a tour guide who takes in a young woman named Nandini after learning she has escaped from a mental asylum. As he shields her from those seeking a reward for her capture, he uncovers her past connection to a retired Supreme Court judge, Gopichand Verma, whose estranged and self-serving family complicates her search for belonging. Directed by Priyadarshan as a Hindi remake of his own Malayalam film, this 1992 comedy-drama blends humor with themes of family and identity.
