Mukunda is a 2014 Telugu drama about a devoted college student who stands by his friend when the friend falls for the niece of an influential municipal chairman. Mukunda's involvement leads to a confrontation with the chairman's authority, setting off a chain of events that also draws him into a romance with the chairman's daughter. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film marked the acting debut of Varun Tej alongside Pooja Hegde.
