Mother Teresa & Me

2023 · 145 min

Directed by Kamal Musale

This 2023 Hindi-language drama interweaves two narratives: a British woman of Indian descent who travels to Calcutta seeking direction reconnects with her former caretaker, who was among the first children taken in by Mother Teresa during the 1960s. Through their encounter, the film explores Mother Teresa's formative years working alongside the impoverished in India, while also depicting her inner spiritual doubts and sense of isolation—facets of her life less commonly portrayed.
