A 38-year-old chef living in the UK decides she wants to become a mother through fertility treatment but seeks out a suitable biological father rather than using an anonymous donor. She meets a stand-up comedian from Hyderabad and asks him to help her realize this plan, though he initially misunderstands her intentions and falls in love with her instead. Their relationship unfolds as they navigate the medical process and their growing emotional connection.
