Set in a Kerala village, this Malayalam comedy-drama follows Madhavan, a good-hearted small-time thief who took up stealing to cover his family's debts and earns the nickname 'Meesa' for his moustache-twirling habit. His rivalry with a wealthy moneylender escalates when a corrupt police officer joins forces against him, and matters worsen when Madhavan is wrongly blamed for the theft of a sacred village idol. He must go on the run to clear his name and uncover who is truly responsible.
