This 2011 Tamil masala film follows Saravanan, a well-liked but soft-spoken young man who falls into a relationship with Gayathri, daughter of a domineering businesswoman named Rajeshwari. When Rajeshwari discovers Saravanan's hidden tough-guy past and tries to control the match to suit her own interests, a battle of wills unfolds between the two. The story mixes romance and comedy as Saravanan works to win Gayathri despite her mother's schemes.
