This 2012 Tamil romantic comedy follows Kannan, a happy-go-lucky young man who helps his father run a construction business, as he falls for his childhood friend and neighbor Revathy, whose family includes some of the area's most feared local toughs. When her relatives arrange her marriage to another man, Kannan's friends intervene by whisking her away, setting off a chain of complications that separates the couple and forces Kannan to leave the country for work before he eventually returns to seek her out again.
