A wealthy businessman seeks a groom for his daughter, who has drawn up an unusually demanding list of eight requirements for a potential husband. When a matchmaker who arranged the father's own marriage three decades earlier becomes involved, he proposes a candidate who happens to be the daughter's cousin. This comedy-drama is a sequel to a 1982 film, with several actors returning to their original roles.
