A young man has drawn up an elaborate list of eight specific requirements for his future wife, and his uncle takes on the challenge of finding someone who meets every criterion. When a suitable candidate finally appears but fails to satisfy even one of his demanding conditions, the uncle arranges their marriage anyway, setting off a series of complications that ultimately reveal the uncle's hidden motivation rooted in his own tragic past.
