In a Kerala village, a carefree young man's involvement in local political rivalries and a cricket-match dispute helps spark communal violence between Hindu and Muslim residents, forcing his family to send him abroad for safety. Working on a desert camel farm under a Pakistani supervisor, he initially clashes with the man but gradually forms a close bond with him as they face shared hardships, including a COVID-19 illness. The story explores how this unlikely friendship challenges the prejudices he grew up with.
