This 2007 Tamil action film follows Anbu, a carefree engineering student from Pattukottai who lands in legal trouble after clashing with a corrupt politician's men while defending a friend. Required to report regularly at a police station run by his uncle, Anbu falls for a college student named Malar and becomes entangled in a growing conflict with a ruthless local political boss and his brother who control the city. As he tries to protect Malar and her family, Anbu increasingly draws the ire of these powerful figures.
