In this 1999 Tamil crime comedy, a young couple from Kerala runs away to marry against her family's wishes, only to become targets of a killer after they witness him murdering a local minister. As they flee to Chennai and get separated while dodging the culprit, a CBI officer investigating the killing begins probing a bitter rivalry between two prominent businessmen for possible links to the crime. The story follows the parallel efforts to track down the fugitive lovers and uncover who was truly behind the murder.
