This Telugu biographical drama traces the life of screen icon Savitri, from her impoverished childhood in Vijayawada to her rise as a celebrated actress in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. The story follows her romance and marriage with fellow star Gemini Ganesan, and her later decline, as pieced together decades afterward by a journalist and a photographer investigating her mysterious hospitalization.
