This 2012 Malayalam action comedy centers on Chandran Pillai, a widowed father from a Kerala village, while a teacher named Bhama hopes to marry him and become a mother figure to his son. When Chandran Pillai travels to Madirasi to buy his boy a bicycle, he ends up investigating the mysterious disappearance of a police constable, pulling him into a dangerous chain of events that also involves a kidnapped Delhi journalist. The story draws loosely on real incidents from the city of Madras, though it is depicted as being part of Coimbatore.
