A small-time crook who repeatedly ends up in and out of jail breaks into a house in Kanyakumari and encounters an elderly man who appears to suffer from memory loss and mistakes him for his own son. Seeing an opportunity to profit from the old man's condition, the thief sticks around and the two end up on a journey across Tamil Nadu together, during which an unlikely bond forms even as the thief keeps trying to exploit him. As their trip continues, strange events and a police investigation into a spate of killings begin to hint that there is more to the old man than meets the eye.
