A group of five IT workers stumble upon a mystic who can conjure a future newspaper, and they use its predictions to try to make quick money by betting on a boxing tournament. They track down an unmotivated young man named Peter who has no real boxing skill but agrees to compete in hopes of winning over a sports-loving woman he's smitten with. As the tournament unfolds, complications arise when a second, far more formidable boxer sharing the same name enters the picture, forcing shifting alliances among the group.
