Set in Mumbai, this romantic comedy follows Sanjay, an IT engineer, and his bank colleague Kareena, both struggling to afford a home of their own. When Sanjay learns of a joint housing scheme, the two agree to pose as a couple to qualify, even as Sanjay is entangled in a secret relationship with his boss and Kareena faces pressure from her mother regarding her engagement to another man. Their arrangement leads to complications as they navigate applying for the apartment while pretending to be a couple.
