This Tamil political satire follows a small-town councillor who dreams of rising fast in state politics despite his father's unremarkable career. When the ailing chief minister's death triggers a by-election in his hometown, he schemes with the help of a hired strategist to secure his party's backing and outmaneuver a powerful rival with deep local influence. As the campaign escalates into image battles, rumors, and shifting alliances within the ruling party, the councillor's cunning tactics push him toward the top of state politics.
