An American student travels to Tamil Nadu to research an ancient temple and its sacred artifact, a powerful nose stud tied to Hindu mythology. When the artifact goes missing and he becomes magically shrunk to miniature size, he must work with the temple's spiritual guide and a local woman to recover it before sunset and break the spell. The film blends mythology, romance, and fantasy as the protagonist confronts supernatural evil forces.
