Laila is a 2025 Telugu action-comedy about Sonu Model, a talented Hyderabad beautician whose good deeds and knack for dramatic makeovers repeatedly land him in trouble with jealous husbands, gangsters, and a bride-obsessed family searching for a daughter-in-law named after a famous actor's films. As he juggles a new romance, feuds with a vengeful policeman and local toughs, and the fallout from a client's makeover-driven marriage, his life spirals into escalating chaos tied to a shady cooking-oil business. The film, directed by Ram Narayan and starring Vishwak Sen and Akanksha Sharma, was a notable box-office and critical failure despite becoming a widely shared meme subject online.
