A Mumbai gangster poses as a Gandhian scholar to impress a radio host he's smitten with, and after days of exhausting research he starts experiencing hallucinations of Mahatma Gandhi, who becomes an inner voice guiding his moral choices. He applies these Gandhian ideas—dubbed 'Gandhigiri'—to help everyday people, even as a scheming, superstitious property developer plots to seize a retirement home run by the woman's grandfather while its elderly residents are away.
