This 1986 Telugu comedy follows Sundaram, a skilled but lazy village tailor for women's clothing, who is told by a fortune-teller that he will gain wealth and status if he can find and marry a woman with a particular mark on her thigh. His search leads him to flirt with several women in town, including the sister of the local chieftain, while his friends and disciple try to keep him out of trouble as he pursues this prophecy. Complications multiply when a village schoolteacher enters the picture and the chieftain, known for punishing anyone who trifles with women, grows suspicious of Sundaram's schemes.
