A married Gujarati shopkeeper living in Kuala Lumpur with his devout wife and grown son harbors a secret obsession with a famous Bollywood actress. When he wins a contest to meet her, he conceals his marriage and pulls his family into an elaborate ruse so she can stay with them while researching a role, leading to escalating complications as feelings and jealousy come into play. The comedy is loosely based on a Gujarati stage play and centers on the fallout of his deception.
