A mute man raised as a servant by a tyrannical landlord falls in love with a woman the landlord has forcibly married. When the landlord's violence separates them, the man regains his voice through surgery and discovers the truth about his past—that the landlord murdered his parents and deliberately silenced him to steal their wealth. He then fights to rescue the woman he loves and expose the landlord's crimes.
