Set in the village of Rameshpur, this 1991 Hindi drama follows a tyrannical landlord and his enforcer who rule through fear and are responsible for the murder of a beloved local teacher. The teacher's brother and his widow raise their children with a determination to one day return and confront those responsible, leading to escalating conflict as the family stands against the village's oppressors. Directed by Kuku Kohli, the film stars Dharmendra, Chunky Panday, Sonam, Amrish Puri, Aruna Irani, and Vinod Mehra.
