Kinara is a 1977 Hindi romantic drama directed by Gulzar, largely filmed amid the historic architecture of Mandu, about an architect named Inder who survives a serious road accident and later encounters a celebrated dancer who has withdrawn from performing after losing someone dear to her. As the two grow close, Inder discovers a painful connection between his own past and the tragedy that changed her life, setting off a complicated emotional journey between them. The film features Jeetendra and Hema Malini in lead roles, with Dharmendra in a guest appearance, and a musical score by R. D. Burman.
