Set in Bangalore, this film follows a classical dancer named Anjali who arrives by train for a performance organized by a local Malayali association. A wealthy businessman named Mahendran becomes infatuated with her, but Anjali falls in love with Murali, a young man she meets at a footwear shop. Their romance faces opposition from the jealous Mahendran, leading to elopement and marriage, but the couple's happiness is disrupted by a tragic accident.
