This 1993 Hindi crime thriller follows Inspector Ram's pursuit of Ballu, a feared hitman working for a ruthless crime boss, after Ballu escapes custody following his capture. To help clear her fiancé Ram's tarnished reputation, fellow officer Ganga goes undercover as a dancer to infiltrate Ballu's gang, gradually uncovering the painful backstory that turned him into a criminal even as she develops conflicted feelings for him. The story builds toward a confrontation between the police, the fugitive, and the crime lord who manipulated him.
