A small-time con man on the run from police in Kolkata flees to Hyderabad and ends up posing as his lookalike, a hydrology graduate fighting to protect his village's water rights from a corporate land grab. As he takes on his double's identity to hide from the law, he becomes drawn into the villagers' legal battle and stages a bold public protest to force attention to their cause. The story blends dual identity, romance, and a fight against corporate exploitation set against Telugu-speaking India.
