In this Malayalam crime thriller, a blunt, unconventional police officer investigates the mysterious deaths of his close friend's son and the young man's fiancée, killed in a blast near the Kerala-Karnataka border that authorities blamed on a Maoist attack. His inquiry into a small border town uncovers links between the couple's deaths, the killing of several policemen, and a local officer's murder, drawing him into a web of corruption tied to a village leader and a brothel operator.
