This 2011 Tamil romantic comedy follows Vasanth, a Chennai-based engineer who invents a fake romance to dodge a marriage his grandfather has arranged for him. He soon falls for a woman named Narmada and pretends to be blind to win her affection, leading to a relationship complicated by her disapproving police-commissioner father. Their bond is further tested after a real accident and a series of misunderstandings threaten to derail their plans to marry.
