A local tough named Narayanan becomes entangled in a murder plot when a corrupt contractor hires him to harm an honest engineer. After Narayanan accidentally kills the engineer, he is consumed by guilt and attempts to help the victim's widow, leading to a dangerous confrontation with those who want to silence him.
